Mills supports Social Enterprise
H.A.V.E. Culinary Training Society is a social enterprise that operates a small café on the downtown eastside. All café workers are H.A.V.E. students who learn the culinary skills necessary to get a full-time job in the restaurant industry. H.A.V.E. is special in that all students are selected based on need (many come from the downtown eastside) and course costs are covered through café proceeds and sponsorship. Mills has been involved with H.A.V.E. from the start through sponsorship and office supply donations. In fact, Brad Mills is a member of the Board of Directors and continues to be an integral part of the success of H.A.V.E. To learn more visit www.have-cafe.ca
